I grew up in San Francisco and attended University High School, where I played basketball and edited the school newspaper.
I have many interests outside of business such as journalism and media, psychology, religion, neuroscience, American culture, international relations, economics, and others. Also, ping-pong. I love ping-pong.
I subscribe to the mantra of Think Different.
I love to travel. I took a "gap year" after high school and traveled to more than 20 countries, staying with readers of my blog in many cities. I also lived in Colorado and explored the Rocky Mountains, as well as did a one-month road trip throughout the U.S.
I am tall. 6 feet, 5 inches, to be exact.
I love the idea of entrepreneurship and believe anyone can think entrepreneurially -- even if you're not starting your own business.
I spent three semesters at Claremont McKenna College in Southern California.
