I grew up in San Francisco's Cole Valley and attended University High School, where I played basketball and edited the school newspaper.
I have many interests outside of business such as journalism, psychology, neuroscience, culture, international relations, and economics. Also, ping-pong. I love ping-pong.
I subscribe to the mantra of Think Different.
I love to travel. I took a "gap year" after high school and traveled to more than 20 countries, staying with readers of my blog in many cities. I also lived in Colorado and explored the Rocky Mountains, as well as did a one-month road trip throughout the U.S. I lived in Santiago, Chile for many months as well.
I love the idea of entrepreneurship and believe anyone can think entrepreneurially -- even if you're not starting your own business.
