I decided to create this as a sister blog to my primary blog called It's, like, Ben's Blog which chronicles my thoughts, ideas, links, and feedback on entrepreneurship, school, sports, web/technology, Friends of Ben, and current affairs.
I am lucky enough to be able to participate in an exchange program my high school is involved in. There is a school in Zurich, Switzerland that wants to develop a sister-city relationship with San Francisco. My high school is one of four that will be hosting Zurich students. Four students and their families at my high school were selected to host a Zurich student for three weeks. In return, the student (me) gets to travel to Zurich for three weeks and stay at the family over there for a total cost of $500. A sweet deal indeed. I've never been out of the country, so this was a great opportunity and I'm lucky I was chosen.
On this blog I will be posting text and pictures. The kid arrives in November and stays through Thanksgiving. I then go to Zurich at the beginning of June (when school gets out) for three weeks. Those will be the hot periods when I post on this blog. I encourage you to subscribe to my syndicated feed of this blog so you don't have to visit the web-version often.
